Travel looks inspiration ¦ Spring Edition

You read here our first post about travel looks – Winter edition, and I thought it’d be more than fair to honour the most beautiful season of all: Spring has arrived in the northern hemisphere, so let’s enjoy it and prepare an appropriate suitcase for this season.

The challenge is to make combinations that suit the mild temperatures, so you will not feel too cold or hot. I hope you like the tips to make a smart, fashion and fit suitcase!

Jeans & Layers

It is not so hot yet, but sometimes at lunch time it gets warmer and you don’t want to go to the hotel to change (sometimes, this isn’t even possible!). That’s why the classical tip to wear layers is a very smart practice. To add some style, try to mix neutral colours, accessories, and your best friend: The jeans jacket. Look how versatile it can be when used over cardigans, light sweaters or adding nice accessories as necklaces and scarves.

White Pants!

White pants on travels can be polemical because they might not be very practical (you might have to wash them before using again for instance), but I think it is the perfect item for spring: You don’t feel cold, but can compose light looks as the season asks. You can use with jeans shirts or striped blouses, for example, and mix it with accessories: It’s an excellent idea to skip the traditional blue jeans.

Show & Cover

If you’re ready to use skirts and shorts, it is nice to include a third piece like blazers and light jackets, or even a long sleeve sweater. You’ll feel protected and you can elaborate the outfit with the right accessories. Believe me: You can change an entire look with a nice pair of earrings or a couple of powerful bracelets.

Travel looks inspiration – Winter Edition

Sometimes, is not that easy to go on a trip with a small baggage, especially during winter (coats, coats and more coats!). Depending on the length of days or even if you are on low cost flights, you must do the difficult math of style vs weight limit. Not so glamourous, hum?

One personal tip is, if you can, try out all looks you intend to wear during your trip before packing. It is a little work but it´s worth it and saves you good minutes in your mornings during the trip.

Irrespectively of the season, the greatest secret to guarantee a comfortable and stylish travel look is to include some key-items in your suitcase. Trust me: With a good and neutral coat or jacket and the right accessories you won´t need too much more than this!

Ps: As you´ll see, none of the inspiration looks includes high heels, so you can walk and discover new places without worrying about your feet!

The little black jacket

Maybe it is the most versatile item of your wardrobe: Find one that fits you perfectly and you´ll have a best friend for your travels. Maybe it doesn´t work for temperatures below zero, but it´s so warm and stylish!

We love neutral coats

Neutral colors always provide you more combination options, and they look more elegant too. A good and neutral coat also gives space for more creative scarfs and necklaces, for example. Let´s be realistic: It´s easier to fill your suitcase with accessories than with enormous winter coats, right?

Leather pants are for life

It´s incredible how a good pair of pants can change your look, especially if it has a special material, as leather or something that looks like it. It can be comfortable leggings or skinny pants, but look how your winter outfit looks much more stylish!
